Marilyn Ross'
Credentials
For those of you who might not know Marilyn Ross,
she has been a respected member of the publishing community for
almost three decades. Marilyn and her husband Tom
cofounded the Small Publishers Association of North America (SPAN)
in 1996. For the first seven years she served as its executive
director, building the organization to the second largest of its
kind in the world.
Marilyn has a passion for helping authors, self-publishers,
and independent presses be all they can be. Her commitment to
excellence is known industry-wide. For 27 years she headed About
Books, Inc., a publishing consulting and book marketing firm.
Additionally she has authored 13 books, including the classic
Complete Guide to Self-Publishing, which just topped 100,000
in sales, and the award-winning Shameless Marketing for Brazen
Hussies. You can trust her to provide integrity, creativity,
